Welcome to

Cox’s at Spencers Farm

Coxs at Spencers Farm Shop welcomes you to our family friendly farm shop and Carters Cafe, nestled in the picturesque village of Wickham St. Paul, which is approximately halfway between Sudbury, Suffolk and Halstead, Essex. With over 30 years’ experience in fresh produce we offer high quality food, gifts and homeware from the local area.
The Spencer family have been growing on the farm since the 1970’s. The farm shop opened in 2001 and has only grown in size since then. Soft fruits are their speciality with strawberries, raspberries and cherries grown in the fields adjacent to the shop. We stock their homegrown asparagus, which does not get fresher. Apples are another core line the family produces, with farm grown varieties of Cox, Russet, Spartan, Laxton Fortune, Laxon Superb, Kids orange Red, Meridian, Falstaff, Braeburn, D’archy spice, Belnhiem Orange, and Suntan . Spencers growing combined with the Cox family’s knowledge of fruit and veg ensures a mouth-watering display of fresh vegetables and fruits on entering the shop. Meat is supplied daily by our local butcher. Bread is delivered fresh from our local baker and we have a wide range of quiches, pies, cakes and scones which are made fresh on site. If you are a food lover, we have many artisan items to tempt your taste buds!
