The Spencer family has been growing fruit on site for nearly 50 years. Every summer they open up their fields to Pick Your Own. Come and make it a family day out. Pick delicious Strawberries, juicy raspberries, blackberries and cherries, then enjoy a spot of lunch in Carter’s Café, while the kids enjoy the enclosed play area and watch the goats cross over the famous bridge.

Come and taste cider from our local suppliers or sip a beer from local brewers while enjoying a light luch from Carters Café. Or if  you prefer to eat at home, our farm shop stocks everything you need for the perfect fathers day BBQ.

As the evenings become cooler and the kids return to school, visit the farm shop for the fruits of the harvest. If perserving is your kind of thing we have plently of fresh fruit and veg to turn into an array of jams and pickles to last once the last summer days have passed..

Pumpkins do not get fresher than ours. Grown on the farm and delivered by Farmer Paul to our pumpkin patch. Bring the kids and grandkids, pop on your wellies and come and choose a pumpkin, carve at home. Then warm up with a delicious Hot Chocolate from Carters Café.

The Spencer family grow a wide variety of apples including Cox, Russet, Spartan, Laxton Fortune, Laxon Superb, Kids orange Red, Meridian, Falstaff, Braeburn, D’Arcy Spice, Blenheim Orange, and Suntan on site. Apple Day celebrates everything that is Apple. Taste some of the apples grown on the trees next door, purchased freshly pressed juice or take home one of our beautiful homemade apple pies.

For Xmas trees we have it covered, pot grown to commercial large trees we can supply the lot including tree stands. We have a beautiful selection of wreaths, both fruit and traditional.
